Turn everything off for an hour on March 29th @ 8pm to raise awareness of energy usage.
People who participate will shut off their TVs, radios, computers, and anything else considered non-essential.The idea is to use as little energy as possible for that hour.More than 20 cities across the globe - from Aalbork, Denmark to Tel Aviv, Israel to Phoenix - will take part in what’s being called Earth Hour. The gesture, mostly symbolic, is meant to convey that each person can help reduce carbon-dioxide emissions, which contribute to global warming.
