AZ BioDiesel will very soon be selling biodiesel made from recycled grease from local restaurants. All of the fuel will be sourced, processed, and sold in the local market. Follow the link to Desert Biofuels Initiative to hear the interview. Link to interview.

    I can’t wait for them to open! It is this week??? Finally, somewhat convenient bio! :c)

    To be honest though, I wasn’t too impressed with the interview as far as implying biodiesel has better mileage. Perhaps I am misinformed but it seems from my experience it doesn’t seem to have as many mpg as the dino-diesel. I am still happy to use it though.

    Yeah I think that was a tad misleading, you do lose a few MPGs with bio because it contains less energy then regular diesel. I am really looking forward to their opening also. It’ll be great to be able to run off of fuel that’s is completely local and recycled.
