I was a bottled water drinker for years but grew up on tap.. effective marketing goes a long way, unfortunately. Hearing the comments about bottled tasting so much better makes me think of the Penn and Teller video you posted a while back. Our water in Maricopa tastes great! We just filter it and keep it cold and it saves us from the use of all that plastic (and whatever harm that may have on our bodies as well as the huge environmental impact) and saves us money.

My "tap" water is well water and it's the most tasty water I've ever had. I routinely refill bottled water bottles with my own "tap" water for on-the-road convenience.
