Even though, London has very many thousands of restaurants/bars/pubs, I really can't find something really special for a regular price, here, and the service is quite bad, as well. (I'd had my own restaurants for more than 10 years and I know, that without a real passion and commitment, there is no good catering experience) I need to admit, I am soon going to travel to US to personally experience these new pleasures, the country has started to offer.
